Raising the Roof - A Barn Party to Benefit the Waldo was a huge success! Scrumptious (and locally sourced) food and drink, foot-stomping music, and lively conversation filled an evening that drew close to 300 people.
We are thrilled to announce that the sold-out event raised over $25,000! This money will be used in Phase One of our Capital Campaign, which aims to begin restoration work with a new roof, moisture remediation, and upgrading existing plumbing and electrical systems. This is but the beginning of a forward-thinking and ambitious plan to reopen the Waldo.
Thanks to the outpouring of support from friends, sponsors, volunteers, and community members, we are one step closer to opening the doors of the Waldo.
The following list of sponsors demonstrates the incredible support that went into planning what was truly a community event. From donations of fresh produce, beautiful flowers, and local cheese to hay bales, shuttle busses, and porta potties...Raising the Roof would not have been possible without the generosity of these local organizations, businesses, and individuals. THANK YOU!
