On September 21, Bruce Metrick gave Waldoboro Lions Club members Larry Newbert, Ron Gerrish, Ellen Winchenbach and Sandra O’Farrell a tour of the Waldo. The Lions Club then contributed $2000 toward the first phase of the Waldo Theatre restoration effort. Funds will go toward brick repairs and a new roof, which should be completed this fall. Our heartfelt thanks to the Lions Club for their enthusiastic and generous support!
